Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

I found this via the Google news page the other day and thought it was really cool - http://www.wolframalpha.com/ I am planning on going back to school sometime and think this page could be very useful as it expands.  Is Wolfram|Alpha a search engine? No. It's a computational knowledge engine: it generates output by doing computations from its own internal knowledge... »

Here is part II of the Cervelo videos.  This deals more with the technology and wind tunnel testing.  I have never seen a wind tunnel but it would be a blast to see everything that goes on in there.  Aerodynamics is so important in cycling these days I can see why Cervelo puts so much time and effort into making... »

I just got out of "The worlds best commercials" movie here and Halifax.  If you ever get a chance to see these movies I would highly recommend it.  They are full of great commercials from around the world that are both entertaining and very creative.  The movie is about an hour and a half long but feels more like half... »

The worst race ever

Monday, May 11th, 2009

My race was a waste of $65.  It was a three stage even.  Fist stage was a hill climb just outside of Halifax. Blomidion National Park or something....   It was a nasty little climb hitting well over %15 in a few sections, but the total climbing distance was only about 2kms.  The start was a good 4kms away from the base of the hill... »
